Warren cottage is a cosy and secluded two-bedroom cottage set in lovely Herefordshire countryside. It is available to rent for those seeking a peaceful, rural setting, for weekends or longer.

The cottage sleeps three adults or a couple with two young children. It has a woodburning stove, oak framed double glazing throughout, a small walled garden, its own parking and a secure outbuilding for bikes or canoes.

It is the last building on a track, six miles south of Hereford, off the A49, in Kingsthorn (or Kings Thorn) and immediately next to Aconbury Woods (below), the site of an ancient hill fort, full of mature deciduous and coniferous trees. The cottage provides easy access to the Black Mountains, River Wye and great country walks (details kept in the cottage).

There is a well stocked shop 2.5 miles away in Wormelow and pubs nearby, some serving excellent meals. The owners live 100 yards away across the orchard in Warren Farmhouse (above right).
